Probabilistic Plan Recognition for Hostile Agents
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents a probabilistic and abductive theory of plan recognition that handles agents that are actively hostile to the inference of their plans. This focus violates a primary assumption of most previous work, namely complete observability of the executed actions.

Detecting and Tracking Hostile Plans in the Hats World
Plan recognition is the problem of inferring an agent’s hidden state of plans, or intentions, based on the pattern of his observable actions. Among many potential applications, intention recognition can be particularly useful for intelligence analysis and homeland security related problems. While most of the existing work in plan recognition has focused on studying overt agents, problems from t...
متن کاملExtended Abstract: Recognizing Plan/Goal Abandonment
Introduction This paper describes ongoing efforts to extend our work (Geib & Goldman 2001b; 2001a) (G&G) on the Probabilistic Hostile Agent Task Tracker (PHATT) to handle the problem of goal abandonment. As such, we will be discussing both probabilistic intent inference and the PHATT system and assume the reader is familiar with these areas. We refer the interested reader to the complete paper ...
متن کاملHybrid Symbolic-Probabilistic Plan Recognizer : Initial steps
It is important for agents to model other agents’ unobserved plans and goals, based on their observable actions, a process known as plan recognition. Plan recognition often takes the form of matching observations of an agent’s actions to a planlibrary, a model of possible plans selected by the agent. In this paper, we present efficient algorithms that handle a number of key capabilities implied...
متن کاملCase-Based Behavior Recognition in Beyond Visual Range Air Combat
An unmanned air vehicle (UAV) can operate as a capable team member in mixed human-robot teams if it is controlled by an agent that can intelligently plan. However, planning effectively in a beyond-visual-range air combat scenario requires understanding the behaviors of hostile agents, which is challenging in partially observable environments such as the one we study. In particular, unobserved h...
متن کاملProbabilistic Plan Recognition for Intelligent Information Agents - Towards Proactive Software Assistant Agents
In this paper, we present a software assistant agent that can proactively manage information on behalf of cognitively overloaded users. We develop an agent architecture, known here as ANTicipatory Information and Planning Agent (ANTIPA), for recognizing user plan in an unobtrusive manner and reasoning about time constraints to provide relevant information at a right time. ANTIPA integrates prob...
